Location : Mauritania, Middle East
Our client is multinational drilling mining company base in Bermuda. Now they have project in Mauritania and looking for high caliber talent from Indonesia.
They looking for Exploration Driller Mining to work at site location in Mauritania.
Reporting to : Drill Supervisor
Primary Responsibility :
To achieve optimal production from assigned drill rig/s through operation of drill rigs, supervision and training of national employees.
Duties :
Operate drilling machines.
Under the direction of the Drill Supervisor, conduct the successful drilling operations of the drill rig.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on drilling equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance daily and assists when required with mechanical repairs.
Recommend repairs and maintenance to rigs, and drilling and safety equipment.
Record daily drilling data.
Identify training needs of employees, provide 'on the job' training where possible and record this, and other, training needs on the Training Record sheet for recommendation to, and actioning, by the Drill Supervisor.
Ensure safety procedures and Personal Protective Equipment are maintained at all times and that all persons working on the site are working safely and in accordance with Company safety standards.
Ensure equipment supplied to site is used correctly.
Report daily to base.
Client liaison as required.
Other duties as directed.
Responsibilities :
Maintain a high standard of drilling techniques. Adherence to site safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge & Skills Required :
Experience with a variety of drilling techniques including RC, diamond etc.
Training & Education Required :
Successful completion of Year 10 or equivalent
First Aid
Experience Required :
Minimum 5 years actual drilling (not off‐siding) experience with a variety of drill techniques including RC, diamond etc.
Equipment Knowledge :
All aspects of multipurpose drill rigs, land‐cruiser and truck mechanics and a basic understanding of hydraulics.
Physical Requirements :
Must be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job
Responsible for ensuring necessary vaccinations are kept updated
Ability and willingness to travel, and work on a roster
