Wellsite Geologist for Coal Mine (Entry Level - Medium level)
(Kalimantan Timur - Kab. Kutai Barat)

 

Responsibilities:

Geological mapping; take notes on coal outcrop or other sediments, measure its parameters, taking pictures and writing proper description

Proper sampling and handling method of outcrops

Handling and making proper drilling summary and report

Able to analyze radioactive logging result

Proper sampling, handling and labeling of cored coal samples, of which to be analyzed in laboratory

Requirements:

Requirements;

Understand JORC principles (Joint Ore Reserves Committee) in doing exploration tasks

Proficient in using handheld GPS and Geological compass

Intermediate know-how of using Mapinfo Professional (Computer software for plotting geological findings)





A successful candidate will prossess these traits:

Experience and ability to demonstrate the required scope of work

Good working track record (not changing job too often i.e not only for looking for salart)

Proffesional manner and good work ethics

Demonstrate the ability to be team player

Location: Kab. Kutai Barat

Working Roster: 8 : 2, Accomodation, meals and transportation at site are at company's expense
