Geoscan Pte Ltd (formerly known as Geoscan Instruments Pte. Ltd.) was incorporated in Singapore in March of 1989 to meet the demand for geotechnical instrumentation and soil investigation services.

In the early years of her incorporation, the company was mostly involved in soil investigation works and to name some projects are SBC TV World in Tuas, developments in southern islands (Pulau Seraya, Pulau Ayer Merbau, Pulau Serabok), Changi Ferry Terminal, Ngee Ann City as well as for infrastructure and building projects. As geotechnical works become increasingly in demand in 1990s, Geoscan focus its core business to include more instrumentation scope, giving our clients a convenient and cost efficient solution to their instrumentation needs. The company has continued to grow by introducing more services including real-time monitoring for vibration, noise and EL-tilt meter. In further enhancing value to our clients, we ensure our assets are renewed and upgraded regularly.

Geotechnical Engineer (Kaki Bukit)

Job description :

* Supervision of soil investigation works including analysis, interpretation and reporting of soil investigation work.
* Supervision including analysis and interpretation and reporting of geotechnical instrumentation works
* Liaison with client, their representatives, government authorities on matters relating to the project’s progress and findings of the scope of work.
* Perform any other assignments, local or overseas, assignment as and when required by the Managing Director

Job qualification:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering/Civil/Structural or equivalent
* Have at least 5 years post graduate working experience supervising soil investigation and instrumentation work in Singapore
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* 5 ½ day work week
