Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in analytical systems projects to meet and/or exceed customer’s specifications, project schedules, financial goals and the quality standards for analytical systems projects in Asia Pacific
- Ensure good project management standards, procedures and practices are implemented, including material procurement and project implementation phase, up to the successful commissioning of the project at customer site
- Lead the third party procurement and contract compliance initiative for analytical systems projects across the Asia Pacific region
- Review and perform due diligence on quotations and incoming contracts as well as external purchases and subcontracts
- Review specifications, negotiations, vendor selection and qualification of approved vendors as well as suppliers and subcontractors
- Responsible for identifying, analyzing and responding to risks that are likely to affect the projects
- Ensure focus on understanding customer needs and solving customer problems to improve customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication Engineering
- A high level of knowledge on wireless technologies, RF and communication
- Experience in running teams of technical nature with a basis in radio equipment, transmitters and RF systems
- Able to handle commercial and financial aspects of projects and engineering
- Experience in RF industries and equipped with strong engineering knowledge
- Solid people management skills with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Responsible, mature and dynamic team player
- Strong ability to lead a dynamic team
- Effective command of verbal and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good technical writing and presentation skills
- Proactive in interpreting customers’ needs and able to work closely with customers
- Dynamic, flexible, willing to change and adapt to new situations and challenges (technologies, customers)
