As a Production Sharing Contractor for BPMIGAS, we operate many producing and exploration blocks in Indonesia. To support our expanding operations in Indonesia, ConocoPhillips is looking for talented Indonesian nationals to fill in the following positions.

PROJECT CONTROL SPECIALIST

Main Responsibilities:
1) Lead and coordinate the implementation of an effective project control, including planning & scheduling, cost estimating/engineering, budgeting & cost control, progress/variance analysis, trend analysis & forecasting, performance/progress reporting, accounts payable, information management, document control, and office administration. This is to ensure that project control activities from pre FEED through close-out are monitored, controlled and comply with policies and procedures.
2) Manage the development and implementation of project control plans, system and work procedures.
3) Provide input on development contract strategies, contract document, procurement and expeditions.
4) Liaise and coordinate planning and progress information from Contractor and Sub-Contractor and provide overall planning, scheduling and progress reporting structure for Project.
5) Manage project risk in close liaison with the project management team.
6) Provide an active role in supporting Project Manager in working relation with Government Authority.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering with min. 14 years experience in all aspect of project services/management in major oil and gas projects, from preliminary engineering through detail engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, tie-in and commissioning; with min. 5 years in the same role.
• Broad based experience in contracts, procurement and financial matters.
• Experience in negotiating with major international contractors.
• Must also familiar with government regulation on oil and gas industries.
• Customer Oriented and Organization: coordinate with various engineering disciplines, field personnel, administration and management to insure compatibility with all interface areas of the project.
• Computer Skill is a must
• Strong leadership to coordinate a team of project control of both company and contractors.

SR. PROCESS ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
1) Proactive contribution in all aspects of process/ facilities design for all project phases from Pre-FEED to Start-up.
2) Provide active role in all aspect of engineering design and process, including development, evaluation and optimization of concept, development of process simulations, PFD, P&ID, equipment and line sizing, SAFE charts, and all other process calculation and documentation required by other engineering
3) Review and Develop specification, purchase, testing, installation, commissioning and start-up of all process equipment system.
4) Ensure that reliability and operability are considered in the process/facilities design.
5) Provide on-site support and assistance during installation, pre commissioning and integration of process equipment/ piping at the fabrication yard.
6) Prepare and develop project documents that are required to obtain approval for each project approval gate.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Process Engineering with min. 10+ years of major project experiences related to gas gathering, compression, and processing.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Hysys, PIPESIM and Equipment Rating programs/ software
• Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence
• Good knowledge of gas plant design, start-up and operating requirements
• Must be able to properly size and specify process equipment and controls in accordance with applicable industry standards
• Working knowledge of pressure relief and flare system designs
• Working knowledge of all relevant engineering & construction codes and standards

SR. INSTRUMENT/CONTROL ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
1) Proactive contribution in all aspects of instrumentation and Control system engineering design activities for all project phases from Pre-FEED to start-up.
2) Perform engineering design of instrumentation and control system of the brown field development, as well as new development project.
3) Provide active role in all aspect of engineering process that include developing, optimizing and reviewing, and interface with other engineering discipline for cross discipline engineering activities, including participate in P&ID, HAZID, HAZOP, Peer and Operations reviews, etc.
4) Provide active support on engineering and technical issue to project procurement, to ensure contractor and equipment vendor are in adherence to company requirements and project scope
5) Provide active role during the installation, testing, acceptance, handover process, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities, and also initial trouble-shooting. This shall include developing and implementing performance test procedure.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Physics Engineering with min. 10+ years of major project experiences related to gas gathering, compression, and processing
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Instrumentation and Control programs/ software
• Good knowledge of gas plant design, start-up and operating requirements
• Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence.
• Must be able to properly size and specify instrument and control equipment in accordance with applicable industry standards
• Working knowledge of all relevant engineering & construction codes and standards.
• Experience in organizing and supervising engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning
• Ability to work within a diverse cultural environment

SR. PROJECT ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
1) Ensure the development of the onshore/offshore gas facilities, including gas compression station, gas processing plant, and subsea pipeline, are completed on schedule and within approved budget in accordance with approved contract documents and in accordance with Government of Indonesia regulations.
2) Overall job function will include but not be limited to: Coordination of work during detailed engineering design with EPC contractor; Provide site engineering assistance as required during construction period and take an active role to ensure acceptance of the facilities is in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in engineering with a min. of 10 years of major project experiences related to gas gathering, compression, and processing
• Good knowledge of gas plant design, start-up and operating requirements.
• Good knowledge of the design & installation of gas pipelines. Must also familiar with relevant government regulation on oil and gas industries.
• Broad based knowledge of mechanical/ process equipment, manufacturers and system suppliers.
• Experience in organizing and supervising engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning.
• Previous project experience working with major international EPC contractors would be an asset.
• Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence
• Working knowledge of all relevant engineering & construction codes and standards

STAFF ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
1) Provide and maintain update on project documentation pertinent to the rotating equipment, includes company specification & standards, work procedure. This is to ensure that all aspect of the mechanical/rotating equipment consistent with applicable industry codes & standards, HSE requirements and project scope for each phase of the projects from pre FEED through to close-out. This also covers the whole range of project requirements including implementation of external specialist study work where required.
2) Provide active support on engineering and technical issue to project procurement, to ensure contractor and equipment vendor are in adherence to company requirements and project scope.
3) Provide active role in HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, Value improvement Process and involve in other engineering discipline for cross discipline engineering activities.
4) Monitor and assist in inspection of all equipment installation, and fully involve in acceptance and hand-over process.
5) Provide active role and technical support during pre-commissioning. commissioning and start up activities, also initial trouble-shooting. This shall include developing and implementing performance test procedure.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with min. 10 years experience in all aspect of mechanical/rotating equipment in major oil and gas projects, from preliminary engineering through detail engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, tie-in and commissioning; with min. 3 years in the same role.
• Must have strong technical/engineering skills with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities.
• Must also familiar with relevant government regulation on oil and gas industries
• Broad based knowledge of mechanical/rotating equipment, manufacturers and system suppliers.
• Experience in organizing and supervising mechanical engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning.

Main Responsibilities:
1) Provide and maintain update on project documentation pertinent to the pipeline engineering, includes company specification & standards, work procedure. This is to ensure that all aspect of pipeline engineering consistent with applicable industry codes & standards, HSE requirements and project scope for each phase of the projects from pre FEED through to close-out. This also covers the whole range of project requirements including implementation of external specialist study work where required.
2) Provide active support on engineering and technical issue to project procurement, to ensure contractor and equipment vendor are in adherence to company requirements and project scope.
3) Provide active role in HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, Value improvement Process and involve in other engineering discipline for cross discipline engineering activities.

• Experience in organizing and supervising mechanical /pipeline engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning.
• Capable of working and living in a remote environment for extended periods of time.
• Computer Skill is a must. Skills on software package such as CAESAR II and Knowledge of other software packages are advantageous.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
1) Provide and maintain update project documentation pertinent to the electrical engineering, includes company specification & standards, work procedure. This is to ensure that all aspect of electrical engineering consistent with applicable industry codes & standards, HSE requirements and project scope for each phase of the projects from pre FEED through to close-out. This also covers the whole range of project requirements including implementation of external specialist study work where required
2) Provide active support on engineering and technical issue to project procurement, to ensure contractor and equipment vendor are in adherence to company requirements and project scope.
3) Provide active role in all aspect of engineering process and interface with other engineering discipline for cross discipline engineering activities, including participate in P&ID, HAZID, HAZOP, Peer and Operations reviews, etc.

• Must have strong technical/engineering skills with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities.
• Must have extensive experience in main and emergency electrical system requirements and design, electric control systems, and requirements for hazardous area certification and hazardous area equipment selection.
• Must also familiar with relevant government regulation on oil and gas industries.
• Broad based knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturers and system suppliers.
• Experience in organizing and supervising electrical engineering and technician teams in design, installation and commissioning.
• Capable of working and living in a remote environment for extended periods of time.
• Computer Skill is a must. Other software package such as ETAPS and Knowledge of other software packages are advantageous.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
Technically accountable for mechanical design/engineering for module and facility modification as per Company standards and requirements. This includes:
1) Reviewing documentation delivered by the EPC contractor that details the development of equipment lists, data sheets, specifications, piping and material requirements, layouts, weight reports, code requirements for building ASME and PD-5500 pressure vessels and all other mechanical documentation.
2) Provide active, on-site assistance during module and spool fabrication by ensuring that the mechanical equipment and system components are installed and tested in accordance with the design documents.
3) Participate in offshore commissioning, start up, initial operational troubleshooting, and project closeout.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, with min. 8 years of mechanical design and implementation experience in oil and gas facilities.
• Strong technical/engineering skills with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards plus a working knowledge of other discipline activities.
•Broad knowledge of mechanical equipment and manufacturers and system suppliers, with a particular expertise in the design, specification, manufacturing, testing, installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of static equipment.
• Large, integrated project experience in an international setting. Operational experience is preferred in order to feed field experience back into the project.

COST ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for Projects Department Project Cost Estimate:
1) Establishing the proper cost estimate method, deliverables, and format;
2) Coordinating the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Organization Breakdown Structure (OBS);
3) Setting Project Cost Contingency and escalation;
4) Perform Cost Risk Analysis and set up Project cost scenario; For clarification, the incumbent does not perform project finance and accounting activities.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering with Min. 8 (eight) years experience with high degree of experience with routine cost estimating methods such as quantity surveying, MTO summaries, unit costing, factoring, contingency allotment, total cost validation by benchmarking against historical data.
• Must have a good knowledge and familiar with applied engineering code of standard.
• Must be able tar read and interpret engineering design & specification, and constructions/installation plan, to project cost and schedule.
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Expertise with common and most up to date spreadsheet applications such EXCEL, and know how to transfer data between various information applications. Incumbent must be able to demonstrate the expertise to work with functions, macros, pivot table, and MS EXCEL data management features.
• High degree of experience with using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Experience with reconciling VOWD estimates with commitments and actual costs plus accruals.

PLANNING ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:
1) Implement the integrated project planning system and schedule within the Projects. This is to ensure that planning and scheduling for each phase of the projects from pre FEED through to start-up are established fully and integrated with the respective Projects Group and departments.
2) Prepare, develop and implement procedures and methods to ensure proper control and measurement of project progress and reporting.
3) Ensuring proper control on the implementation of the approved contractors planning, scheduling and progress measurement.
4) Provide project administrative function as needed and establishment of various related project procedures.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering with min. 8 years experience in the establishment of project schedules, planning and status reporting in oil and gas projects, from preliminary engineering through detail engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up end commissioning.
• Customer Oriented and Organization: coordinate with various disciplines to insure compatibility with all interface areas of the project.
• Computer Skill: computerized planning packages in particular, Primavera. Other software package such as MS Project and knowledge of other software packages are advantageous.
• Strong leadership to coordinate a team of project controllers of both company and contractors.
• Proactive and Self Starter; inquisitive to identify what needs to be done.

CONTRACT ANALYST

Main Responsibilities:
1) Proactive involvement in all aspects of contracts administration from the planning phase, through the bidding phase, execution and close-out.
2) Have a lead role in the overall process and be responsible for timely execution of the work to ensure that Contracts function is performed efficiently, cost effectively and Contract business is conducted ethically and in line with good business practice.
3) Contribute to the efficient administration of the Contracts function and participate in the planning and setting of strategies for new contracts.
4) Preparation of front-end documentation including tender plans, adverts and prequalification documents.
5) Administer the prequalification process including the efficient handling of clarifications and evaluation of responses.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in the preparation & administration of major contract doc & 5 years minimum in the Indonesian offshore oil & gas business.
• Fully familiar with the requirements of Keppres 18/2000, SK-077, BP077 Rev III and BP0997 and the 2004 revisions 007/PTK/VI/2004.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be self-driven and be capable of working in a challenging environment with minimal direction.
• Reasonable understanding of Indonesian Employment & Tax regulation as they apply to expatriates and national contract personnel.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
